Hi again guys! So, I'm going to try to update with journals fairly regularly.

Anyway, this time, I want to know all your headcanon's!
Short Dave, tall Jade, Chubby Jade, whether Jade has a dog tail, whether Dave's still an unemotional cool kid, how Davesprites and Jade relationship works, how John reacts to their relationship, anything like that! I want to hear all your lovely headcanons! You might give people some ideas, or help them develop head canons.


(And sorry for the silly doodles, I just wanted to illustrate the point!)

So anyway, share anything you have!

Okay, I have quite a few headcanons! (Mostly appearance wise!)

Jade- I imagine Jade (and John) are both half african, half chinese (Jane being African, Jake being chinese), but Jade looks more chinese than John does. I also think Jade would be originally, taller than John and Dave, and kind of rub it in their faces, but later on, they both get taller as well. Jade's either pretty short in my headcanon, or kind of tall, I still haven't decided. She's got a fairly round face though, and her eyes always look massive because of her glasses. She's kinda curvy, but has big hips. I think she's not necessarily the definition of beauty, but she's one of those people, who everyone thinks is cute, and kinda attractive, and once you know her, she's the kind of person everyone thinks is pretty good looking.

Davesprite- He's taller than John, and is fairly gangly. He's got kind of broad shoulder though, possibly? Dave's a quarter korean (from Roxy), but 3 quarters caucasian. I imagine him and Rose are both albino, but Dave always dyed his hair Strawberry blonde. (Pretty ironic almost being ginger!) He's got a pretty long face, and a long pointy nose, that kind of looks like a beak. He doesn't look that much different as a sprite, apart from the fact he seems to always be wearing a tshirt. (Sometimes he wears shirt of hoodies Jade alchemised him as well.)
I also think that after the 3 years from spending all his time with the Harley-Egbert twins, he'd be much more emotional, to an extent, and kind of drop the cool-kid facade. John and Jade would probably not appreciate it if he'd kept it up all those years, so I think he'd be quite different from Alpha Dave. I also think John and Jade call him DS, as it felt weird for Jade to call him Dave, because he's different from Dave, so DS, as it could stand for Davesprite, Dave Strider, and 'your named after a portable games console! whats more ironic than that!!! :D'.

Does anyone else have any headcanon's about how Davesprite and Jade would be like after the journey, or even any headcanon's about John as well, as he is part of their journey. :D

Alright so I always imagine Jade being the shortest one of the kids being around 5'1 while John is the tallest. Dave is pretty happy with his height and Davesprite usually tries to stay the same height while floating. But when Davesprite meets John he's like "oh NO WAY. He can't be taller than me. I have to show everyone that I'm the alpha dog here because I've been in this game the longest" so he ends up floating higher up but it puts him at an awkward height next to Jade so after a while he returns to his original height.

Oh ok so Jade, John, and Davesprite get really close during during the 3 years to the point where they could be walking around in their underwear and they wouldn't care. So sometimes they talk about old friendships or relationships they were in and John and Dave would have all these cool stories and Jade just says something like "i met a guy once on club penguin and he asked if we wanted to be friends". John and Davesprite laugh but then realize that she was serious and try to fix it, but she doesn't mind and laughs along with them.

John and Jade have gotten used to thinking of Dave and Davesprite as different people. Davesprite has too and sometimes tells some really embarrassing stories but instead of speaking in first person he says "Dave" and "he". Jade and John didn't understand at first but later on they noticed that he usually spoke in first person about things that happened after John and Jade died in his timeline.

Dave is very pretty, almost feminine looking, practically a stick and extremely white. Like. Ridiculously white. So white that he's pretty much this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzY2Qcu5i2A) song personified. Somehow I never really bought the albino theory, though I can see how it makes sense with the red eyes, but I always just imagined that the kids all had strange eye colours because of the game and that he wore the shades just to be a douche. Because Dave tries far too hard to be a douche, even if he really isn't- I just see him as a scared little kid, really, like everyone else is at fourteen, and not some tormented soul. Davesprite is still snarky and Davetastic in my headcanon, even after the three years, but he's a little... Softer, I guess? After what he's been through, and after being around John and Jade. Basically, he's the coolkid most of the time but when push comes to shove he knows when to drop it like it's hot. He teases Jade a LOT. Looking at John is sometimes painful for him, but he'll live- what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger and I think that Davesprite is a manifestation of exactly that.

I'm pretty confident that all the kids will come out of this all right if they make it out alive, to be honest. They're all strong, admirable people for a bunch of fourteen-year-olds and I'm sure that they can handle any emotional trauma thrown at them.

Jade on the other hand is half-Asian. Chinese, perhaps? Korean? I'm not all that sure. Asian from Jake's side, Caucasian from Jane. She's not exactly OMFGWTFGAWJUS but she's adorable in a way that Dave really can't resist. Sadly for her she inherited an Asian chest, meaning what chest, what hips. She's pretty short, I'd think, about 5'2"- and say what you want about her, she really doesn't need a hero, and doesn't need to be saved. I can't emphasise this enough; Dave said that Jade needed protection, yet she was the one who turned around and saved him, and that says a lot about Jade and who she is. While she can make her emotions by acting happy, she's not as out of touch with them as many of the other kids are. In fact, despite how much Dave thinks he'll be her hero, at the end of the day she was his. And that's one thing she likes better about Davesprite- in the three years they'll be together, he'll learn that she doesn't need a hero. I think she's probably the most emotionally well-adjusted female out of all of the kids in some senses, even if having lived on an island the whole time she's a little lost when it comes to some other things. Probably love and romance, for one, even if she's really a romantic deep down. Heh.

John knows that Dave has a thing for Jade so he's kind of like WELP

And for popular headcanons I think are interesting, even if they aren't my canon:

1. albino!Dave/Davesprite
2. ftm!Dave/Davesprite, or mtf!Jade. Basically the only way I can see transgendered characters happening would be if John and Jade are physically identical twin boys, AND Dave and Rose are physically identical twin girls. Or Rose AND Dave ended up in the wrong bodies, and/or John AND Jade. Though this is a potentially sensitive issue so yeaaaah.
3. mute!Dave/Davesprite.

That's all that I can think of, but I'm probably okay with writing almost anything. Come to think of it, why does the fandom like to torment Dave so much? Seriously, why does everything happen to Dave?

Oh, these are some pretty nice headcanons! I think I now agree with you and Gethsy about Jade being super cute. (And super white Dave is kinda what I think, but I love the idea of Roxy being half Korean, and Rose looking slightly Korean. Dave just looks caucasian.)

(Also, with the ftm!Dave/mtf!Jade headcanon, I've always thought if those were the cases, Rose would be mtf, Dave ftm, Jade mtf, and John ftm, as because they're paradox clones of their parents, you have to have xx and xy chromosomes, so just xy and xy and xx and xx would not work.)

I can definitely see where you're coming from with the mixed features, actually. I might just buy into that one 8D And yeah, about the trans thing, fair enough.

One last thing, I forgot to mention! I can work with anything when it comes to racial headcanons as well.
