Hi everyone! Okay, so I'm Rhedbird, or otherwise known as Frankie. (Or Rhed if you don't want to use my real name! You could even come up with a nickname for me, if you want.) I'm going to be our lovely teams Palhoncho!



Anyway, this will be an opening post, so we can learn a little about everyone! I hope we can all become a really close-knit group, that'd be amazing! :'D

Oh! And one more thing guys, how should we talk to each other and sort out stuff? I can't use skype, for some reason, my internet can't deal with it, so what other options can people think of?

Man, I'm not sure I could handle K-6 regularly. They have too much energy for me. Right now, I work with high school kids, but ideally, I want to move back to Japan to teach English. :|b

I work as a Play Place ranger at a McDonald's (along side with being a cashier etc)and I really thought at first that that would deter me from like kids so much because I would have to clean up after them and because of how fast they go allthetime. It ended up that it's helped me like little ones even more! :) Besides, I'd always be worried about older kids' tendencies to have bad attitudes. :/ Not all but I've noticed a lot.
:D That sounds like it would be so neat! Japan is a place I wouldn't mind visiting sometime, I'm not sure if I could live there though.

Yeah, no matter what age group you work with, you're going to face some sort of difficulty, but you just have to find which group you mesh with better. I work pretty well with younger kids, but mostly like, in small groups. As in, no more than two at a time, ahaha. Some older kids can be pretty disrespectful and completely unmotivated, but I've learned to whittle away at them until they trust me. 8D

I've lived there before and really enjoyed it, but right now, I have to settle some medical issues before I feel comfortable going abroad again.

That's true :) The biggest group of little kids I can remember having (for like a birthday party at mcds) was like 17. When it starts to get up that high my hands start to get a little full.

Well, hopefully you'll be able to live there again soon :)
